Juneteenth is about the celebration of the freeing of the slaves in the state of Texas. It just recently became officially a federal holiday.for all states . It had nothing to do with the massacre of Black Wall Street. And just for the record Black Wall Street was a community of African-Americans that created one of the most productive communities in US history but was destroyed with assistance from the United States government. The Internet didn’t clip what you said we heard it all the way in Texas and we are extremely offended. Next time before you speak on any cultures please do your research. When this concert was first announced it and stated that it was going to be on Juneteenth for Juneteenth. The title pop out. Came later..I love my Hispanic family in Texas we participate in Cinco de Mayo by Showing respect for it we also celebrate Hispanic heritage month in September. But never have you heard Black people or African-American people complaining about underrepresentation in any Hispanic heritage events.And the reason for that is during that time we are honoring and celebrating culture.
